​

2007年、福岡で来日公演を行った吉林省京劇院「西遊記 火焔山」を観劇。
劇中で躍動する孫悟空に憧れ、「自身も孫悟空になる」と決意する。

翌年、16歳で京劇の孫悟空を学ぶため、師を探して一人で中国・北京へ渡る。
現地で出会った、北京京劇院 国家一級俳優「赵元俠」

北京風雷京劇団 国家一級俳優「松岩団長」両名のもとで演技指導を受ける。

帰国後、学生時代に孫悟空の演舞や中国獅子舞を披露する同好会を立ち上げる。
卒業後、パフォーマンスチーム「黒龍舞術団」を結成し

パフォーマーとしての活動を開始。

現在は、瞬時に面が変わる「変面」、京劇の孫悟空が用いる如意棒の演舞を基にした「棒術」、そして高さ8mの椅子の上で命綱なしのバランス技を披露する

「椅子倒立」を自身のメインアクトとして活動。

2017年より、さまざまなジャンルのアーティストとともに、自ら演出・主催する

パフォーマンス公演を毎年開催。
衣装のデザイン・制作も手掛け、中国芸能をルーツとしながらも、その枠に

とらわれない独自の世界観を持つショーを追求している。

YUYA TAKATORI｜Profile

In 2007, Yuya Takatori watched Journey to the West: Flaming Mountain, performed in Fukuoka by the Jilin Peking Opera Theater of China.

Captivated by the charismatic Monkey King on stage, he decided that he would one day become Sun Wukong himself.

The following year, at the age of 16, he traveled alone to Beijing, China, in search of a master to study the role of Sun Wukong in Peking Opera.

There, he had the opportunity to train under Zhao Yuanxia, a National First-Class Performer of the Beijing Peking Opera Theatre, and Song Yan, a National First-Class Performer and Director of the Beijing Fenglei Peking Opera Troupe.

After returning to Japan, he founded a student group dedicated to performing Monkey King techniques and Chinese Lion Dance.

After graduating, he formed the performance team KOKURYU and began his career as a professional performer.

Today, his main acts include “Bian Lian,” the traditional art of instantaneous mask-changing; “Bo-jutsu,” a staff performance inspired by the Ruyi Jingu Bang techniques of the Monkey King in Peking Opera; and his signature chair-balancing act, in which he performs at a height of 8 meters without a safety line.

Since 2017, he has presented original productions every year, working with artists from a wide range of disciplines while serving as the director and producer of his own shows.

He also designs and creates costumes, continually pursuing a distinctive visual world that draws from Chinese performing arts while going beyond their traditional boundaries.
